Ethics Training for Correctional Personnel

As correctional professionals we have been granted a public trust to maintain the care, custody and control of those convicted or charged with crimes. This trust mandates that we act both legally and ethically in the performance of our duties. This seminar is designed to provide participants with strategies and techniques for developing a proactive approach to maintaining ethical behavior. It will focus on identifying pathways to unethical behaviors which start from simple rule violations and can end up in criminal behaviors. This training will rely on numerous large and small group exercises to give participants practice in addressing and resolving ethical issues.
