Developing a Gang Management Program for Your Institution

Good management practice begins with good policy. This program will begin with the elements of a gang management policy and discuss its implementation. Topics include interviewing techniques, validation of suspected members, housing strategies and options, and liaison with law enforcement in the community. Participants in this work shop should have either the introductory course above or have a minimum of three years of working with gangs and STG’s in the institutional setting.

Training Duration:  2.5 days

Target Audience: Facility Investigators, Internal Affairs Officers, Intelligence Officerts and Special Investigative Supervisors.  Two person teams made up of one of the above and a facility administrators will be given preference.
