Utilizing proper procedure when preserving a crime scene and the collection of evidence can either make or break a case against a perpetrator. Minor mistakes can lead to the dismissal of a case against a perpetrator and may have the effect of indicating to other inmates that they can get away with criminal behavior. This session will focus on the technicalities of crime scene preservation and evidence collection and can also be used to help participants evaluate their present practices.
